Do you think dogs act up when you are close to giving birth?

I have two small rat terriers that are 4 and 5 they are really good dogs and never get into trouble. Everynight my husband get home from work and puts all his things by the door on the floor and his shoes in front of the door he has been doing that for over a year my dogs never touch any of his things..well I woke up this morning and one of the dogs grabbed his wallet and chewed the corner of it( which I was pissed because it was a gift to my husband I spent $250 on it which I would never do..it was louis vitton) and he chewed the back of one of his shoes. I just don't understand because in 4 years they have never chewed up anything!! I am wondering if maybe I am going to have the baby soon...I'm 39w3d and they are acting out?
My question was has any ones dogs acted weird before they went into labor?

My dogs and cats always acted funny when I was about to go into labor. My dogs would move things around the house and bark a couple hours before and my cats would stick by me and if anyone would come near me they would hiss at them. By my 3rd delivery I learned to just trust that they knew it was going to happen. As soon as my cat hissed at my husband I told him to pull out the birthing tub.
