Is a sleeveless dress appropriate for a fall wedding?

As a guest, is it appropriate to wear a sleeveless dress to a fall wedding?

I don't see why not. As long as the fabric, color and style of the dress are fall like, wearing something sleeveless is not a fashion faux pas. Most semi-formal or formal dresses only offer 3 types of tops; either strapless, halter, or strappy (spaghetti, thick straps, one shoulder, etc)

So, no one is going to think you are being inappropriate for having no sleeves, because most dresses don't, in general.

If you are concerned about being cold, wear a jacket when you are outside. For the ceremony and the reception, bring a shawl or a sweater to cover up. However, once the reception starts, it will probably get a bit warm in the room, with all those people. So, you most likely, will not need you cover up. But, it's good to have one, just in case.
