Does anyone know how to make a fleece scarf?

I wanted to make some of the no-sew fleece scarves, like the blankets. I've found some directions but they don't say to knot it- or don't you knot it.. do you just sew it down the middle and then cut the fleece? Help : )

I've made two kinds of fleece scarves.

One is flat where you just cut the width and length scarf you want and then cut 1/2 inch wide by 4 inch deep cuts at the end for thetasselses'.

My favorite kind that I've made for alot of gifts is more fluffy ones, and I think that's what you mean because you said you sew it down the middle.

I layered 3-4 pieces of fleece (depending on how full you want the scarf). I often use 2 or 4 different coordinating colors.
Next sew a straight stitch down the center of the scarf length-wise, and do it twice for extra reinforcing.

Then cut 1/2 inch (or desired width) strips in from the long edge into about 1 inch from the seam you just sewed. Do that for the length of the scarf on both sides.
Fluff your scarf and you're done.
