big dilema need help now please?

i know 6 month isnt a big thing but i bought my girl a handbag thing i think she will like and i also bought her a decently cheap perfume its roxy i think it smells good so i bought it but girls would you think this is to big of a gift or would you like it

Oh god.. I was about to say that the handbag and perfume was a cute idea until I saw that the bag was over 100.

Well, this poses a problem in the longrun. If you want the relationship to be long-term, it can happen, but most people feel compelled to "upgrade" their gifts each anniversary or whatnot.

What'll you get her on your 1 year? something 200$?
How about your 1.5 year? something 300?
What about your 5 year anniversary? ...O_O something.. even more expensive??

I personally prefer if a boyfriend would give something small at the beginning because if it's too costly, it puts pressure on me to "live up to it."
