can i bring my laptop in a purse?

I will not be checking any bags. I am going to have a carry on luggage. My airline says that I can have a purse or a laptop bag in addition to that. Can I put my laptop in my tote bag? They won't seize it or anything right?

You can carry your laptop in your purse, but you will need to take it out to go through security. Laptops always have to be seperated from other bags when going through screening. Check the TSA website for more info...
