What ever happened to that Charles Manson movie with Lindsay Lohan and Jared Leto?

I just came upon an article about one of the Manson Family members dying in prison, and I remembered a movie that was in the making maybe 2 years ago with Jared Leto playing Charles Manson and Lindsay Lohan playing one of his followers. I can't find anything on the web about it ever being released or what ever happened to it. Anyone know?

Jared Leto was never in it? Lohan was slated to play Nancy Pitman in a Manson movie but it's been in 'pre-pro' for a couple of years now. If it ever gets completed, it won't be a wide release.
