Where in LA can I find these services?
Greetings! I am a Chicago native planning a trip to LA to visit a family member for a few days. I decided it's time for me to update my look (hair, makeup, and overall style). I need a place that can tell me what hair styles go well with the shape of my face, what hair color goes best with my complexion, best makeup practices for everyday/evening looks, and what kind of clothing that looks well on my body frame. I am slim and tall with a small frame. I am African-American and even though I have fine hair, I need to go somewhere where they manage ethnic hair well. Can anybody give any suggestions as well as price range?

To raise money for the Haitian Earthquake Relief, LA-based, eco-fashion label DirtLA supported Josh Duhamel, the American Red Cross, and approximately 3,000 youths and parents for the “Youth Run 4 Haiti” this past weekend. With Hollywood eco-artist McKenzie, the clothing company created sustainable t-shirts, and all of the proceeds will go to assist the Haitians.
