Is it illegal to open a store that sells knock off abercrombie, chanel, gucci, and so on?

Im trying to get a business started and i would love to open a little boutique that sells knock off fashion clothes and accessories.

(Abercrombie, Hollister, Chanel, Gucci, Versace, Ed Hardy, Dolce & Gabbana...)

but, I was wondering is it illegal to sell replica clothes, handbags, and jewelry? Would i need some sort of liscense???

If they are labeled with the original companies labels, or use any trademark designs, then you are infringing on copyrights and can go to jail for fraud.....

You can sometimes get by with a copy that is similar, and has your own label, but if it is too close...

If you are going to have things made anyway, why not design your own stuff....?
