Tux Rental Question: Tie/Vest Color to Match green/blue dress?

my date has a really nice green and blue dress for prom and im going with a black tux, but i dont know what color the tie and vest should be. i know i could just aim for the same color as the dress but are there any alternatives? like complimentary colors or whatnot? oh and i have jet black hair, a good tan, and blue eyes. (to help with color coordination). also, what about a black dress shirt or should i stick with a white?

Love the dress colors..I like the idea of the black dress shirt alot, you could just take one of those two colors(blue or green, maybe blue since your eyes are blue) and focus on it for the vest and tie...So a black dress shirt, with a blue (or green) vest and tie. Just depends on the shade of blue or green she has on her dress. Have fun at prom!
