Dressmaker Dress Form
I am looking for a dressmaker to make a wedding dress in Renaissance style, near Burlington, WI?
Double sleeved, Bódis simple skirt and length floor. Around the waist is lace all the way to the front fabric forming a V. low will be determined later.
Have you ever been Renn faire in an event? People make their own costumes to attend these events - I've never been in one, but I have friends who have gone. My thought is maybe you could go to one of these events and be able to find someone willing to make a dress for you? My other idea is to visit chat forums Online - who have wanted to help the Section and how-tos to make your own costumes, etc - maybe someone can propose to someone to make your dress? http://www.renaissancefestival.com/community/discussion/ You can also try to visit a fabric store, looking for patterns, and simply changing the dress according to your preferences.
