Dog Purse Carrier

Question about taking animals into stores...?

I have a 2 lb. yorkie puppy. I was wanting to get a puppy carrier (the kind that looks like a purse, made for carrying dogs) so that I can take him with me places. However, I was wondering do businesses mind if you do this? For instance, if I went to Target could I take him in with me if he was in his carrier bag?

Businesses that serve food are legally not allowed to have animals in the stores (so if your local wal-mart or target has fast food in it, they'll kick you out). What do you think those greeters are really for? lol.

I've had a couple of retail jobs, and I always thought it was kind of cute when people brought their animals in......as long as they're small, and they don't end up peeing on the floor. Breaks up the monotony.
