I have this quite elaborate dress in mind and I only have one picture of it. Im wondering if it might be too difficult for the seamstress to copy. How talented are these people? I also live in Greece. I dont expect anyone to be able to recommend me a good seamstress in Greece. But do you think I might contact a good one online and they could send me the dress? Maybe thats wishful thinking, I guess I would have to be there for measurements.
Yes quite right copying a designer dress is not a good idea.
However having a "similar" design with subtle changes is not a problem.
Having the gown hand made in America or Europe can be very expensive.
China is an option but communication problems and poor quality control could lead to tears.
May I suggest contacting
they have a lot of experience with making "similar" designer wedding gowns in western sizes. They can also make the bridesmaids dresses. Ask for Mike
