where can i buy designer evening dresses for cheap either in southern California or online.... PLEASE HELP!?

well prom is just around the corner and I'm in a really really huge money bind, so if anyone that resides in southern California, or is a prominent online bargain shopper, and you know great bargains for designer evening dresses then please RESPOND! very much appreciated, thank you!

i live in southern california! in the OC, to be more specific.
anyway, they just opened a kitson outlet at the bluffs in newport beach, last tine i went there wasn't really anything for me, but kitson stuff is really cute!

and you can check at loehmann's, which is at five points plaza on main street & beach in huntington beach, but there are lots more locations, and loehmann's is really designer labels that are super cheap.

there's also anthropologie, with many stores too (but i go to the one at fashion island), and i'm not so sure if that's out of your price range or not, but they always have cute dresses (and i always suggest anthropologie for girls who are looking for dresses), you can see their selection online at http://www.anthropologie.com/anthro/index.jsp .

you can shuffle through clearance racks, bloomingdale's south coast plaza is the place to go. or any bloomingdale's really, but i'm sure all department stores have clearance racks that you can go to.

and if you're REALLY on a budget, forever 21 and h&m have evening dresses, but don't expect them to be WOW! material and well made, but i'm sure you can use them as a last resort.

and i know that since you have a low-budget, this dress would be a little pricey but just look at how many ways you can wear this calypso wrap dress! it's on sale for $175, but if you click the link that says "click for looks," you'll see how many ways you can wear this dress, and you can even turn it into an everyday sundress with so many ways to tie this wrap dress! and i think for $175, and so many ways to wear it, you'll get your price-per-wear down for this garment in no time! it just seems like something that you could wear everyday and to fancy events.
