How can I find out who the designer of a dress is that was worn on a movie?

I was just watching a movie and the actress was wearing a beautiful dress and I am interested in knowing who designed the dress because I am getting married next year and I think it would make an excellent bridesmaid dress. If anybody has any suggestions on how I could find this information it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

and oh yeah the movie was She's the Man...the green dress that Amanda Bynes wears at the very end

If you have the movie on DVD or can watch it again, there should be a mention in the credits as to who supplied what for the film, a list of 'we would like to thank the following...' or even a 'Ms Bynes wardrobe was supplied by...'
Failing that, you might have to contact the film/production company and ask if someone there can help you.
