Buy Designer Dresses Online

has anybody bought a wedding dress from an online ebay store?

hi there guys was wondering if anyone has bought a dress from any online ebay store. i have been looking on ebay for inspiration for gowns for some time now. i have found my gown its a designer called mori lee now the retail of this dress is a few grand but on ebay store the most you will be paying no more than 400 for something that is made to measure and posted to your door. its a catch 22 in the sense of if i buy the dress off ebay and its not what im after or the material is shit and stitching will come apart or buy the gown from a bridal shop and spend that amount of money. as we are having a destination wedding in bali i know that i wont be in a dress for the whole day so i think it is a waste of money spending that amount of money to wear something for a few hours. what do you think?

I ordered from gianinarbridal on ebay and had a very good experience. BUT I did not order a knock-off, it was their own design and they had numerous pictures of the dress and mine came in exactly like it in my own measurements (e-mail me privately and provide me your e-mail address and I can invite you to view my kodak gallery album with pictures of it).

The problem with knock-offs is that the maker shows you a picture of the designer gown you love and says they will make a "similar" dress for you. "Similar" is a matter of interpretation - - what is similar to you could mean you won't be happy unless it is identical and what is similar to the maker could be different lace, different placement of beads or even less/no beads, etc.

Quality-wise I don't think you will have an issue ordering from a seller in china. My dress was amazing and my cousin who made her own wedding gown complimented the fabric & quality workmanship of my dress.
Look/style-wise I think you would be disappointed.

I do recommend the seller I used - gianinarbridal - and would encourage you to look at their dresses and choose one you like. But to order a knock-off is, IMO, asking for a disaster.
